Neralie Johnston started working as an archaeologist in 2007, has a Degree in Archaeology and History and a Master’s in Medieval Archaeology. She has spent most of her career digging multi-period deep stratigraphy urban sites around London, though has also participated in excavations around England, Orkney and Italy. Neralie’s archaeological interests include studying the material culture of early Anglo-Saxon England and its presence in cemetery sites. She is also interested in the influences of religion and elites on the usages of urban space and how conversion to Christianity might be studied and interpreted through the material culture, architecture and landscape of Britain. 100 Minories provides a unique opportunity to study changes in the use of the land outside the city walls.
