Kelly works for L – P in the London office and her work primarily concerns research and consultancy in the earliest phases of the planning process to produce various archaeology, building and environmental impact assessments and inputs into masterplans. Kelly has been involved with the 100 Minories project since its inception; co-authoring the Desk Based Assessment of the site in 2011.
Since acquiring an education in Classical Archaeology, Kelly has worked in London as an archaeologist for almost a decade and has also been involved in research projects in the Mediterranean and Ireland. Her various research interests include Early Imperial Roman public works, Napoleonic forts in the southwest and the archaeology of the tin trade. Kelly is currently involved in an initiative with the SHIPS project in her home town of Plymouth, undertaking landscape survey to analyse later Prehistoric and early Roman tin trade routes from Dartmoor to the coast.
