Talfan Davies

Talfan completed his BA(Hons) in Archaeology at the University of Otago, New Zealand before moving to London and graduating with a Masters from UCL in 2011.

Talfan had worked on archaeological research projects in New Zealand, Palestine and Qatar for two years before entering the commercial sector within Britain. Since then he has worked for commercial units on a number of sites within central London that have varied in their size and stratigraphic complexity.

Talfan’s research interests centre around the advent and development of urban centres. 100 Minories has given him the opportunity to continue with his research interests by investigating the dynamic and ever changing land use of the Minories site within the context of the wider development of the city of London.
